Job Summary:
Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Denver, Colorado, and play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management principles within a logistics environment. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, reconciling inventory records, and implementing procedures to minimize stock errors and damages. The ideal candidate will be proficient with inventory management software and possess the ability to perform physical checks of stock, which may involve some lifting and movement of goods. Ensuring all safety standards are met and proper PPE is utilized is paramount.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE, and assist with lifting tasks when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory tracking software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical inventory checks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace guidelines.
