Join our vibrant team as a Distribution Center Associate in Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of the distribution process, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your versatility and willingness to contribute across different functions will be highly valued. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our facility, contributing directly to our commitment to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damages and report any discrepancies.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times while on the floor.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and full inventory checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to manage Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to protocols.
