Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for orders according to pick lists or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate packing equipment and tools as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Handle lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs routinely.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous picking or packing experience is advantageous.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation.
- Experience with lifting and moving goods in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
