Join our established **logistics** team in the heart of New York City, New York, as an Inventory Control Specialist. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our inventory in a high-volume distribution environment. You will be responsible for implementing robust inventory control systems, conducting detailed cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of our WMS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, preferably within a large-scale warehouse. We prioritize a **safety**-first culture and expect all team members to strictly follow **PPE** guidelines. Occasional **Lifting** of up to 30 lbs may be required. Responsibilities:
- Conduct systematic cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Reconcile inventory records against physical stock, investigating variances.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory data in the WMS.
- Develop and implement inventory control best practices.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, reduce shrinkage, and improve accuracy.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations and procurement teams.
- Monitor stock rotation and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Ensure compliance with all company **safety** policies and **PPE** requirements.
- Participate in **Lifting** of inventory items as necessary.
- Contribute to the optimization of our **logistics** operations.
