Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist in Austin, Texas. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring seamless logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory checks, reconciling discrepancies, implementing inventory control measures, and maintaining precise stock records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining optimal inventory levels are key. You will work as part of a dedicated team focused on efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct accurate cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to manage replenishment.
  • Maintain and update inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff to address inventory-related issues.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping operations as required to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field is required. Proficiency with WMS software and inventory tracking methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational abilities and a high level of accuracy. Must be comfortable with data entry and analysis. Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member. Physical ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial. A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory. This role is critical for our efficient operations and inventory management.
