Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding career in the heart of Los Angeles, California? Our company is hiring a Fulfillment Associate to manage the efficient processing of online orders. This role is critical to our customer satisfaction and involves picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory, ensuring all order details are met, and packaging products with care to prevent damage. A strong emphasis is placed on warehouse safety, and all employees must consistently use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures. This is a hands-on role that requires physical agility, the ability to handle moderate Lifting, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack products securely and attractively for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order details against picked items for accuracy.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Contribute to achieving team fulfillment goals in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or logistics is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated ability in performing tasks involving Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of safety best practices in a warehouse setting, including the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
