We have an exciting opportunity for a People Data Analyst to join the Central Services team at Active Care Group. In this key role, you will support workforce strategy and decision‑making by providing accurate analysis, interpretation, and presentation of people data.

You will work with a wide range of workforce metrics including headcount, turnover, absence, appraisals, employee relations, and training compliance ensuring data integrity across iTrent and associated reporting tools. You will also play an important role in developing clear, actionable insights for senior leaders, supporting organisational planning, and enabling evidence‑based decision‑making.

What you'll be working: This is a full‑time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position is primarily home‑based, with occasional travel required.
What you'll be doing:
Collecting, validating and analysing workforce data across a range of people metrics
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of HR data within iTrent and reporting systems
Maintaining and updating the organisational chart
Producing monthly people dashboards, reports and board‑level analytics
Presenting data in a clear, structured and visually engaging way for internal and external stakeholders
Supporting mergers and acquisitions through the provision of workforce data analysis and insight
Analysing trends and providing actionable recommendations
Managing and analysing employee engagement survey data
Supporting People Business Partners with data requests and insights
Completing regular data audits and improving data quality processes
Supporting statutory and compliance reporting, including Gender Pay Gap reporting
Developing and maintaining dashboards using Excel, SQL and Power BI
Creating and scheduling reports using Business Objects (or similar tools)

What you'll have: Essential
Experience of working in HR, people analytics, data analysis or a related administrative role
Advanced Excel skills with experience using SQL
Experience using reporting tools such as Business Objects
Strong understanding of HR processes, including absence, turnover, appraisals and employee relations
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Confident communicator, able to present data clearly and effectively to a range of audiences
Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Desirable
Previous experience or knowledge of iTrent
Basic experience using Power BI
Experience supporting workforce or people‑related reporting and analytics
