Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse – Ongoing Role (Flexible Days) Location: Halifax Job Type: Locum (Ongoing) Hours: At least two days a week (flexible days and hours) Pay Rate: £25.00 - £33.00 per hour (dependent on experience, skills, and pay type) Start Date: ASAP Description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a well-established GP surgery in Halifax on an ongoing basis. The role offers flexible working hours with at least two days per week, and competitive pay based on your skills and experience. Key Responsibilities: * General treatment room duties, including: * Chronic disease management (asthma, diabetes, COPD) * Cervical smears, vaccinations, and immunisations * Wound care, minor treatments, and health checks * Proficient use of System One for patient documentation * Delivering high-quality patient care in a busy environment * Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes Key Requirements: * At least 6 months' GP surgery experience as a Practice Nurse in the UK * Proficient in general treatment room duties (including asthma, diabetes management, and smears) * System One trained and competent * Available for at least two days a week (flexible working days and times) * Available to start ASAP Why Join Us? * Competitive pay of £25.00 - £33.00 per hour, based on experience and pay type * Flexible working hours (you choose your days and times) * Ongoing locum role with stability for the right candidate * Supportive, collaborative team environment If you’re an experienced Practice Nurse with a passion for patient care and looking for a flexible locum opportunity, we’d love to hear from you
