We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor for our San Jose, California facility. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and Safety in all logistics activities. You will be responsible for implementing operational strategies, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Safety. This is a key position requiring strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Develop, implement, and enforce warehouse operational procedures and Safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
- Monitor and manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure operational readiness.
- Implement and oversee Safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulations and the correct use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the Logistics chain.
- Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all team members are trained on proper Lifting techniques and Safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management. Proven track record in Logistics and supply chain operations. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software. In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Experience with inventory control and material handling. Commitment to upholding the highest Safety standards and ensuring proper PPE usage.
