We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to Safety standards. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, provide training, and ensure all logistics processes are executed flawlessly. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management, and a commitment to creating a positive and productive work environment. Your leadership is vital to the success of our logistics hub.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient workflow strategies to optimize operations.
- Ensure all Safety regulations and procedures are followed, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Train and mentor warehouse associates, providing constructive feedback and performance evaluations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain the security and cleanliness of the warehouse facility.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure proper maintenance.
- Foster a culture of Safety and teamwork among staff.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in logistics.
- Address any operational issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Oversee tasks involving significant Lifting and manual handling, ensuring safe practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to develop and implement operational plans.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with managing teams and motivating performance.
- Ability to handle complex situations and problem-solve effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks that involve significant Lifting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain management is a plus.
