Join our vibrant team as a Picker/Packer in Austin, Texas! We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to efficiently pick and pack orders for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This role involves navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and preparing items for dispatch. A strong commitment to accuracy, speed, and Safety is essential for success in this position. Your efforts will directly contribute to our customers' satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanners.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are secure and protected.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock counts.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics network.
- Handle moderate Lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs, throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and item codes.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to Safety standards and best practices.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to perform occasional Lifting tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
