You'll conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement measures to prevent future errors. Your meticulous approach will be key to ensuring our stock levels are precise, supporting efficient logistics and preventing order fulfillment issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits with high accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by analyzing data and collaborating with relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status to management.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Ensure the safe storage and organization of inventory within the warehouse.
- Train new staff on inventory procedures as needed.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a strong analytical aptitude, and a commitment to accuracy. Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role is highly desirable. You should be proficient with inventory management software and possess excellent data entry skills. The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally, is necessary. Adherence to all safety protocols and the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to maintaining a high level of accuracy in our inventory data. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment and need to be detail-oriented and reliable. Contribute to the efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
