We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This critical role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of safety for our logistics team. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity in all warehouse functions.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Oversee the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and logistics processes for maximum efficiency.
- Resolve operational issues and customer service concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle occasional heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety.
- Experience with various PPE requirements.
