We are looking for dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our state-of-the-art warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be instrumental in processing and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your duties will encompass a range of tasks, including picking products, accurately packing items, labeling shipments, and potentially operating material handling equipment. This role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. The position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Significant physical activity is involved, including frequent Lifting of boxes and products, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. Adherence to all Safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Contribute positively to team efforts and overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Experience with RF scanners or similar technology is a plus.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, bending, standing, and walking.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
- A commitment to contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
