We are seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials from trucks, transferring items within the warehouse, and ensuring proper storage. A strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all regulations are essential. This position is ideal for a skilled operator with experience in a dynamic logistics environment. The ability to work effectively with others, manage tasks involving significant Lifting, and maintain a keen eye for detail will contribute to your success.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack pallets and materials.
- Load and unload goods from incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and cycle counts.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, contributing to overall warehouse organization.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in managing tasks involving heavy Lifting and material handling.
- Thorough understanding of Safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and understand labels, instructions, and safety warnings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
