Are you a motivated individual with experience in warehouse operations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler at our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. Your primary duties will involve receiving, storing, and preparing materials for shipment. This includes operating forklifts and other machinery, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. A strong understanding of logistics principles and a commitment to safety are essential. This position demands physical stamina, a methodical approach to tasks, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, often involving significant Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in other warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in basic inventory management.
- Must be capable of performing tasks involving frequent Lifting, bending, and squatting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
