This role is critical to our logistics success, supporting the efficient flow of goods through our facility. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and accurately put away all incoming inventory.
- Pick orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
- Utilize required PPE at all times to ensure personal and team safety.
- Participate in inventory control processes, including cycle counting and stocktaking.
- Contribute to team efforts and continuously seek ways to improve logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also independently.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and the consistent use of PPE.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
