As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse, ensuring timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory management. This position demands attention to detail, excellent spatial awareness, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities include performing pre-operation inspections of forklifts, reporting any mechanical issues immediately, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, moving materials between different warehouse zones, and assisting with inventory counts. This role requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and may involve extended periods of standing, walking, and bending. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues.

- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
