Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and supporting general warehouse tasks. A strong focus on Safety is essential, and you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operated and maintained according to safety standards, including proper PPE usage. Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor belts, palletizers).
- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Conducting regular safety inspections of warehouse machinery and work areas.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assisting with inventory management and material handling tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement in warehouse operations.
- Supporting emergency repair needs as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing warehouse or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) when necessary.
- Strong understanding of Safety protocols and procedures.
- Certification in forklift operation or related equipment is a plus.
