We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Washington, D.C. As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facilities. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves moderate Lifting and requires the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced logistics setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and racking systems.
- Diagnose and repair minor technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of warehouse equipment for specific projects or events.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operational flow and address any technical challenges.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE and following proper Lifting techniques.
- Support the Logistics department in various operational tasks as directed.
