We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring that our clients receive their products on time and in perfect condition. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and adhering to strict safety protocols. Your primary focus will be on efficiency and accuracy in picking items from various warehouse locations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify product information, quantities, and quality before picking.
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Package picked items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Utilize scanning devices to track inventory and order progress.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
