As an Order Picker, your primary responsibilities will include locating items within our warehouse using RF scanners, verifying product details, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and confirm item picks.
- Inspect items for accuracy and any potential damage.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet performance targets for picking speed and accuracy.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse technology, such as RF scanners.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
