As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This includes the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the application of safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, including staging and loading.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE and proper lifting procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Contribute to team efforts and achieve daily operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Willingness to comply with safety standards and wear PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
