The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and reconciling inventory records. You will work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and a commitment to upholding high standards of **safety** and efficiency. You will be expected to follow all **PPE** guidelines and be comfortable with **Lifting** up to 30 lbs occasionally. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including overages, shortages, and damages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate flow of goods.
- Monitor stock rotation and identify obsolete or slow-moving items.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with the **Lifting** of inventory items as needed, adhering to proper techniques.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **logistics** operation.
