We are hiring enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our growing warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items according to customer orders and meticulously packing them for safe transit. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and understands the importance of precision in fulfilling orders. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick various products from warehouse stock based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for any damage before packing.
- Package orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify order contents against documentation for complete accuracy.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Strictly follow all safety rules and wear mandated PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support smooth logistics flow when needed.
Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred. Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions. Capability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs. Basic understanding of warehouse safety and logistics procedures. A strong commitment to workplace safety is required. Must be punctual, reliable, and work well with others. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is crucial for order accuracy. This role is fundamental to our fulfillment process.
