Join our vibrant warehouse team as a Picker/Packer in Houston, Texas! We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipment. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our logistics process, ensuring that products are picked correctly and packed with care to reach our customers in perfect condition. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to meet productivity goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and understands the importance of precision in warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for defects or damage.
- Package items securely for shipping, using appropriate materials.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and dispatch.
- Operate manual equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Achieve established targets for picking and packing efficiency.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or stock issues to management.
- Support general warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics operations.
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to read and understand pick lists and shipping labels. Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and practices. Understanding of logistics and supply chain basics. A strong commitment to workplace safety is required. Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player. Ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes demanding environment. Excellent attention to detail is crucial for order accuracy. This role is vital for our efficient fulfillment process.
