We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic team at Sunrise Dental of Yakima. New Grads welcome!! As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dental facility with a focus on promoting a positive patient experience.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health issues, including periodontal disease, cavities, and tooth loss.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Utilize advanced technology, including Eaglesoft software and Biolaser, to ensure accurate and efficient patient records and treatment plans.
- Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation, including patient histories and treatment plans.
- Utilize dental terminology and medical coding to accurately document patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including hygienists and assistants, to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Participate in oral surgery procedures, including extractions and bone grafting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse.
- Provide patients with personalized oral hygiene instructions and education on how to maintain optimal oral health.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in Washington.
- Proven experience in a dental clinic setting, with a focus on patient care and communication.
- Knowledge of oral surgery procedures and infection control protocols.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and medical coding.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in dental technology and treatment methods.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $220,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
