\*\*Job Overview\*\* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, and hospital medicine, and will be committed to providing exceptional patient care in an inpatient setting. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy services to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. \*\*Responsibilities\*\* - Evaluate patients with acute care needs and develop personalized treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation. - Utilize trigger point therapy and other evidence-based techniques to manage patients' pain and improve their overall well-being. - Provide patient care that is patient-centered, empathetic, and respectful, ensuring that patients receive individualized attention and support. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans. - Stay current with the latest medical terminology and guidelines, and apply this knowledge to provide the best possible care for patients. - Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and thoroughly, and maintain detailed records of treatment plans and patient care. - Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new clinical protocols and guidelines. \*\*Skills\*\* - Experience in geriatric, pediatric, and hospital medicine settings. - Familiarity with inpatient care and acute care needs. - Knowledge of trigger point therapy and other evidence-based physical therapy techniques. - Strong patient care skills and ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care. - Proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and circumstances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
