Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, have experience in food preparation and handling, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment such as a quick service restaurant. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills, gain restaurant experience, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems for order processing, sales, and cashiering functions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces following food safety standards.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning store, and supporting kitchen operations as needed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience with cashiering, upselling, and serving in fast-paced settings like quick service or café environments is desirable.
• Basic understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
