Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. This role is essential in supporting food service operations across various settings, including restaurants, hotels, catering events, and banquet facilities. Prior experience in food handling, cleaning, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. The Dishwasher will play a vital role in upholding health and safety standards while contributing to a positive dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed
• Support food preparation activities by ensuring clean tools and surfaces are available
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with basic food prep tasks when necessary, including peeling or chopping ingredients
• Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all dishware is clean and ready for use
• Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines at all times to prevent contamination

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is advantageous
• Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, and kitchen cleaning procedures preferred
• Experience with banquet service or culinary operations is a plus
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards is beneficial
• Prior hospitality or restaurant experience will help ensure a smooth integration into the team
