Job Summary
The Project Coordinator is the primary driver of assigned customer projects. From quoting and kickoff through validation builds, qualifications, and final release to manufacturing, you will ensure deliverables, documentation, and materials are in place.
Once products are transitioned to steady-state operations, you will close out project details, capture lessons learned, and ensure operational teams have the tools to succeed — while you pivot to the next new project.
This is a customer-facing, cross-functional role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from quote → kickoff → Prototype builds → OQ/PQ → RTM → handoff to ops
- Maintain project schedules, BOMs, and trackers; ensure deadlines are met and risks are escalated early
- Drive cross-functional communication between Engineering, Ops, Quality, and Supply Chain
- Procure materials for Trial, OQ and PQ builds
- Ensure documentation (purchase specifications, manufacturing drawings, work instructions, validation protocols) are accurate and released on time
- Track and report KPIs such as engineering hours consumed, on-time delivery of milestones, engineering change turnaround time, number of change requests (tracking scope creep), budget variance, customer satisfaction (project level)
- Serve as the main internal point of contact for customers on project execution status
- Prepare project status updates for weekly program and leadership reviews (internal and external)
- Facilitate smooth transition of projects to Operations post-RTM, including closing action items and lessons learned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years' experience in project coordination, operations, or NPI within manufacturing preferred
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage complex timelines and deliverables
- Proficiency in Excel; ERP/MRP experience strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer interaction
- Ability to thrive in a matrix environment (reporting to Ops Manager but guided day-to-day by Program Manager)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65, $75,000.00 per year
