Experienced Waitstaff

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Experienced Waitstaff member to join our vibrant dining team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service in a lively, upscale environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation in accordance with food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing with precision and efficiency
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively
• Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and assisting with food preparation when needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or upscale establishments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols within the food industry
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Previous host/host or serving experience in nightlife venues or restaurants is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
