We would prefer someone with previous food & beverage experience in a like environment, however training is provided. Prior Host(ess) experience is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities Include

· Strategically manage the dining room seating flow to optimize service pace and control the rate of tables seated for efficient order-taking in coordination with the kitchen capacity and serve section loads.

· Act as a liaison between the Front of House and Back of House during service to communicate wait times, large party arrivals, and real-time seating adjustments.

· Oversee all aspects of the reservation system, ensuring accurate data entry for party sizes, contract information, special occasions, and guest notes.

· Rigorously track and communicate all guest reservation details and special requests (e.g., allergies, accessibility needs, specific table requests) to the service staff and management team prior to and during seating.

· Proactively review the day's reservations to anticipate service challenges and personally prepare for VIPs or high-complexity bookings.

· Implement and champion service standards that elevate the overall guest experience, focusing on personalized greetings, seamless transitions to the table, and acknowledging repeat clientele.

· Act as a role model and mentor for the host team, enforcing high standards for appearance, communication, and procedural accuracy.

· Improve the team's ability to manage high-volume situations and effectively handle guests requests.
