Summary
Pay: $14.00-$20.00/hour, based on education and experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our
team at our Watkinsville, Athens, and Bogart locations. As an Assistant Teacher, you'll
play a key role in creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom. You'll bring
learning to life through hands-on activities, ensure a safe and caring environment, and
build meaningful connections with children and families. This is a wonderful opportunity to

Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons and routines using the Frog
Street curriculum
- Assist with caregiving tasks, including diapering, toileting, and meal routines
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management and encourage positive behavior
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions
- Foster relationships with students and families through kind, professional
interactions
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies
Qualifications
- CDA, TCC, or experience working toward an early childhood education credential
preferred
- GED or High School Diploma required
- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting (or strong desire to
learn)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass all required background checks and meet DECAL requirements
- A team-player attitude with a love for working with children
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stay actively engaged throughout the day
