What To Expect in this Role
As an Owner's Representative with a focus on
commercial, utility, and renovation projects
, you'll:
- Act as the
liaison between the owner and the project team
, ensuring the project team remains aligned on scope, schedule, budget, and standards - Provide daily oversight of engineering design and construction activities
, addressing issues promptly and maintaining focus on quality and safety - Guide project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management,
including accurate cost tracking and documentation control - Lead design coordination and support technical decision-making
, offering guidance on equipment specifications, pricing, and procurement strategies - Oversee critical project workflows,
including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting documentation—to keep information organized and moving efficiently - Represent the owner in all design, construction, and facilities-related project meetings
, communicating objectives, capturing action items, and maintaining thorough project records - Deliver clear, timely reporting to the client and senior leadership,
highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions
Minimum Qualifications
BS/BA in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Construction Management, Architecture
or related degree
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients and project teams
, including assisting with schedule and budget management for projects of $1M or greater - Experience in
related engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical), general contracting or other construction project management field
strongly preferred - Proficiency with core project management tools
, including MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office suite; experience with platforms such as PlanGrid, Procore, or BIM tools is a plus - A proactive, team-oriented mindset
, with the drive to grow professionally and contribute within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
