Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Bar Manager to lead our dynamic bar team and elevate the guest experience. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all bar operations, ensuring smooth shift management and excellent service delivery
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, including cocktail mixing, barista duties, and light kitchen tasks when necessary
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports
- Train and develop staff on food safety, customer service excellence, POS usage, and operational procedures
- Maintain high standards of food handling, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with health regulations
- Lead staff interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilities
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Experience in hospitality management within casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with a history of staff training & development and team management
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and food handling regulations across diverse culinary settings
- Previous experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing inventory control measures
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting
