Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining a high level of hospitality to create a memorable dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, customer service, and food quality control.
  • Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Handle POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and cash handling.
  • Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food production to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
  • Implement staff training programs focused on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate events as needed to support overall restaurant operations.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects hospitality management principles while fostering teamwork among staff.

Experience

  • Proven management experience in quick service, cafeor casual dining establishments.
  • Extensive background in food industry operations including kitchen management, food safety, and culinary experience.
  • Supervising experience with team management, staff training & development, and interviewing candidates.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is preferred.
  • Experience in fine dining or hotel hospitality environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, food production, catering, bar services, and food handling standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing shift operations within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
  • Strong understanding of food service management principles including inventory control and cost management. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
