Organizational Introduction

Sisters in Christ: Women of Purpose, Daughters of Promise is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women to grow spiritually, walk boldly in their God-given purpose, and build authentic Christ-centered sisterhood. Through prayer, mentorship, fellowship, and purpose-driven programs, Sisters in Christ equips women to lead with faith in their families, communities, and careers.

Resilience University (RU) is an extension of Sisters in Christ, created to serve women over 35 living with chronic illness by helping them transition from survival mode to intentional thriving. RU integrates spiritual teaching, holistic wellness, emotional resilience training, and community-based support to equip women for long-term wellbeing.

Director (Volunteer)

Commitment:
Minimum 10 hours/week Location: Remote

Role Overview

The Director provides strategic, operational, and spiritual leadership to ensure RU fulfills its mission of empowering women living with chronic illness. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about faith-based service and dedicated to strengthening the impact of the ministry.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead strategic planning, program development, and organizational growth

· Oversee RU cohorts, workshops, and educational initiatives

· Build partnerships and collaborative relationships

· Support volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement

· Ensure alignment with the mission and values of Sisters in Christ

· Provide guidance and oversight to maintain program excellence

Qualifications & Skills

· Leadership experience in ministry, nonprofit, wellness, or education

· Strong spiritual maturity and alignment with Christian values

· Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills

· Understanding of chronic illness considerations is a plus

· Ability to serve 10+ hours per week

Volunteer Note

This is a compensation-free volunteer position. Applicants must acknowledge understanding and availability for at least 10 hours/week
