Guest Service Agent

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. Fluency in multiple languages and previous hotel experience are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Provide accurate information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel management system.
• Address guest concerns promptly, aiming to resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms meet quality standards.
• Maintain a welcoming environment by ensuring the front desk area is tidy and organised at all times.
• Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, with a strong phone etiquette.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous for serving diverse guests effectively.
• Previous experience in hotel or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Friendly demeanour with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest care.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Knowledge of hospitality software systems is a plus but not mandatory.
