Sales Inspector – Raptor Pest Control

Raptor Pest Control is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Inspector to evaluate customer properties, diagnose pest issues, and provide customized treatment and exclusion solutions. This role combines field inspections, customer service, and sales, helping customers understand their pest problems and the best long-term solutions. The Sales Inspector plays a key role in driving company growth while maintaining the high-quality service Raptor is known for.

Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Inspections

  • Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections of homes and commercial properties.
  • Identify pest activity, entry points, conducive conditions, and structural vulnerabilities.
  • Document findings with detailed notes and photographs.
  • Prepare clear inspection reports and service recommendations.

Sales & Service Recommendations

  • Educate customers on pest issues, treatment options, and preventative strategies.
  • Provide accurate, honest, and solutions-focused estimates for treatment, exclusion work, and ongoing service plans.
  • Present and explain service agreements, pricing, and warranty information.
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and past customers to generate new business.

Customer Service & Communication

  • Build rapport with customers through professionalism, knowledge, and trustworthiness.
  • Answer customer questions thoroughly and provide guidance during and after inspections.
  • Coordinate with office staff to ensure scheduling, billing, and communication needs are met.
  • Maintain a positive, service-first attitude that reflects Raptor Pest Control values.

Operational & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with technicians to ensure accurate representation of what services can be delivered.
  • Communicate special instructions, required materials, or job notes to the field team.
  • Assist with documentation, service logs, and post-inspection follow-ups.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales performance reviews.

Lead Management

  • Respond quickly to incoming leads, calls, and online inquiries.
  • Track lead flow, conversion rates, and customer interactions using company software.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to maximize successful job conversions.

QualificationsRequired

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to inspect attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and perimeter areas (physical mobility required).
  • Basic construction or handyman knowledge to understand structural vulnerabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred

  • Experience in pest control, home inspections, wildlife removal, or related services.
  • Prior sales experience, particularly in home services.
  • Knowledge of local pests, exclusion methods, and treatment options.
  • Familiarity with pest control CRM or field service software (e.g., Briostack, PestPac, ServiceTitan, GorillaDesk).

Work Environment

  • Field-based position with daily travel to homes and businesses.
  • Requires entering attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor areas in various weather conditions.
  • Regular interaction with customers, technicians, and office staff.
  • Occasional weekend or evening availability may be required for high-demand periods.
