Plumber Apprentice

Piping Systems Installations LLC, a leading mechanical contracting company serving Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is seeking an experienced Plumber Apprentice who has completed at least the 3rd tier of their apprenticeship program to join our growing team.

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have successfully completed at least the 3rd tier of a recognized plumber apprenticeship program and be actively working toward journeyman licensure. You should possess solid hands-on experience with commercial and industrial plumbing systems, demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and have a working knowledge of Massachusetts and Rhode Island plumbing codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of licensed journeymen and master plumbers, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems on commercial and industrial projects. This includes installing pipe systems, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring all work meets ASME codes and project specifications, maintaining accurate documentation of work performed, and participating in quality control procedures. You will also be expected to follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining organized, efficient job sites.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have completed at least 3rd tier of plumber apprenticeship program, possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, own basic hand tools appropriate to your tier level, demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied conditions including confined spaces when necessary.
