We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Executive Assistant to support a busy law practice and a developing congressional campaign. This role is central to keeping daily operations running smoothly by managing communications, coordinating tasks across multiple projects, and assisting with both professional and personal responsibilities. The ideal candidate is resourceful, comfortable working in a home-based environment in Arcadia, and able to anticipate needs before they arise. Strong communication skills, exceptional discretion, and the ability to manage a constantly evolving workload are essential.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with an attorney and congressional candidate, contribute to meaningful projects, and play a key role in maintaining structure, efficiency, and momentum across all fronts.

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls with professionalism and prompt communication
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for legal matters, campaign events, and personal commitments
  • Serve as a point of contact between the principal and clients, vendors, campaign staff, and other stakeholders
  • Assist with task and project management by ensuring follow-through and timely completion of action items
  • Draft, edit, and organize documents, emails, and correspondence as needed
  • Handle data entry, document organization, digital filing, and basic research
  • Support campaign operations, including scheduling, outreach coordination, and logistical planning
  • Manage errands, personal tasks, and miscellaneous day-to-day needs to keep operations running efficiently
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for documents, scheduling, and communication
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive legal, personal, and political information
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational abilities and excellent time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience with filing systems, document management, and proofreading
  • Comfort working in a home-based environment without a traditional office structure
  • QuickBooks or bookkeeping familiarity is a plus
  • Bilingual communication skills are highly desirable
  • Previous experience in legal support, campaign work, or high-level administrative roles is advantageous
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times
  • Friendly, reliable, and solution-oriented demeanor

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
