Mover/Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting, loading, and unloading goods, as well as providing exceptional customer service during deliveries and moves. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy lifting, and moving equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations across various locations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, to deliver goods and assist with moving services
• Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols
• Transport items to designated locations following established routes and schedules
• Assist customers with the loading or unloading of belongings, ensuring proper handling and care of items
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients during deliveries or moves
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills for efficient deliveries
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for scheduled routes and assignments
