Job OverviewExciting new opportunity to lead an excellent team that is working on next-generation ATE solutions and semiconductor devices, supporting customers generating High Performance Compute. You'll work on cutting-edge technology guiding our customers in close collaboration with R&D, COE, and marketing in a cross-functional, international environment. This is an ideal position for a software or electrical engineer with a strong test engineering background, and in-depth knowledge of the V93000 system, ST7 and ST8 test program architecture as well as strong SW skills for writing test methods and tooling to meet customer needs.
This position will require the drive to work in a challenging environment where requirements change quickly, and solutions must be developed and delivered. You are a strong team leader who can guide customers with complex test requirements, using your SW skills, planning, and V93000 knowledge to deliver solutions with high confidence. You are approachable and easy to work with a team, a good communicator with deep technical knowledge, and considered a role model by your peers.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement test methods (Java/C++) for digital devices on the 93k platform, focusing on transitioning from ST7 to ST8.
- Provide expert support to customers by debugging and resolving SmarTest software issues, and create comprehensive documents and presentations to explain complex concepts in test programs and production environments.
- Train customers on new software and hardware solutions developed by R&D and the Advantest Application Development Center.
- Collaborate with COE, R&D, and external teams to understand customer requirements and develop solutions for high power and high-speed applications.
- Clearly communicate Advantest's strengths, solutions, and roadmap strategy to customers, addressing technical challenges that arise daily.
- Prepare and execute pre-sales activities such as customer presentations, paper benchmark projects, requirements analysis, and competitive positioning activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience on the Advantest 93k platform.
- Understanding of wafer sort techniques and KGD.
- Demonstrated strong personal leadership & good team player
- Strong Java, C/C++ programming skills
- Understanding of quality metrics in test methods and data analysis tools like CP, CPK.
- Proven project management skills
- Proactive, self-disciplined, and highly motivated
- Pre-Sales skills, team lead experience
- Understanding of trimming, MBIST, Logic BIST, Scan techniques.
Preferred:
- SmarTest 8 hands-on experience, at least one year.
- Proficient in 93k digital testing and vector debugging (shmoo, pin margin, timing debug)
- Test time efficient programming skills with experience
- Proven skills in multi-core server testing methodologies
- High power experience for device power supply
