Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced Sauté Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food service, kitchen operations, and provide exceptional meal preparation and service. The Sauté Cook with be responsible for the full sauté station, food handling, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
- Assist with menu planning and meal assembly for various dietary needs
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, sanitation, and handling procedures
- Support food service operations including serving meals and managing catering events
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Utilize knife skills and culinary techniques for food preparation tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow and timely delivery of meals
- Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and assisting with stock rotation
- Uphold standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments, catering, or food service preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Prior experience with food industry standards including catering, serving, or culinary roles is desirable
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special meal accommodations is advantageous

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
