The Deitch Family has been servicing Hartford homes since 1910, providing fuel delivery, heating, and air conditioning service to generations of families. As we expand our 24/7 service coverage, we're looking for a dependable and experienced HVAC Technician to join ALL SHIFTS (weekend, second shift).

Position Summary

This position focuses on servicing residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. You'll handle a mix of maintenance, repairs, emergency calls, and installations, ensuring our customers stay comfortable 24/7. Perfect for a skilled technician seeking a flexible schedule, extra weekend hours with a respected local company.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and repair work on oil, gas, and HVAC systems.
• Complete scheduled maintenance, cleanings, and tune-ups.
• Install boilers, furnaces, air conditioning units, and mini-splits as needed.
• Respond to emergency service calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain safety and compliance with state and EPA regulations.
• Accurately record service data and parts used.

Qualifications

• B-2, D-2, or S-2 License (Required)
• S-1 License Preferred
• EPA Certification (Required)
• 3+ years of residential/light-commercial HVAC experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean record
• Ability to work independently during weekend hours
