We are currently looking for the right RVT to join our team. The skillset required is, quick-learning, self-motivated, critical thinking, must care about cleanliness and attention to detail, able to receive and provide feedback, enjoys working with people as well as animals, comfortable with computers and electronic medical records, enjoys being busy, responsible, honest, and conducts themselves in a professional manner.
Requirements
Technical skills should include but are not limited to:
- Anesthesia drug knowledge and plan preparation
- Anesthesia experience: induction, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery
- Confident in setting up, running, and monitoring anesthesia
- Venipuncture and phlebotomy
- Administration of Medications PO, SQ, IM, IV
- Proficient in medical math
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pre-op and post-op patients
- Well-developed animal handling and restraint skills
- Work directly with owners from check-in to check out
- Superb communication skills with both clients and other staff
- Must thrive in a team environment
- Prepares the treatment area for procedures, including preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies
- Proper Use of Laboratory Tools for internal and external testing, such as PCV, BG, PT/PTT, In-hospital CBC and Chemistries

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited veterinary school (preferred)
- Current CVT/RVT license (Required)
- Veterinary Anesthesia Experience: 1 years (Required)
- Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
