Marketing Manager

Asphalt Specialties Co., Inc. is a leading Colorado family-owned corporation, in business for 34 years providing asphalt paving and roadway civil construction services, as well as recycling and aggregates production and sales along the front range from Denver to Cheyenne.

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Marketing Manager to lead our one-person marketing department to manage all branding and promotion to generate new business opportunities and maintain and strengthen existing client relationships in the asphalt and road construction and aggregate markets and promote company culture and values to attract new employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead both internal (efforts directed at current and prospective employees), and external (efforts directed towards current and prospective customers)

Internal and external marketing are both an integral part of the business and management of that marketing should coincide directly with management objectives as well as the sales team's goals. The ideal Marketing Manager will be able to present the company and its capabilities in clear and concise ways for both employees and customers to understand. The many divisions, their capabilities, locations, products, product availability, and hours of operation are all important in the marketing of the entire company.

• Collaborate with managers to develop effective marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, sales goals, and workforce planning.
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to remain a leader in the industry.
• Manage and improve company branding across all media platforms, including website management.
• Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and cold calling.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understand their needs and how our services can meet them.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving marketing outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.
• Proficiency in utilizing marketing tools and technologies, social media platforms, and website development.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in business development or marketing in the construction or paving industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
