Crane Operator- Maintenance

We are currently seeking a Certified Crane Operator to join our dynamic team at one of our industrial maintenance facilities in Plaquemine, LA. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse industrial projects while operating state-of-the-art equipment in a safe, well-supported environment.

Responsibilities:

The operator should be certified and have the

• Certification and ability to operate the following equipment, when required:
• • Carry deck
• 15-ton hydraulic crane
• 18-ton hydraulic crane
• 35-ton hydraulic crane
• 50-ton hydraulic crane
• 65-ton hydraulic crane
• 75-ton hydraulic crane
• Telehander- Extended Boom Forklift
• Read and interpret load charts.
• Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment to facilitate the manufacturing process.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identifying any malfunctions or irregularities.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and process adjustments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Continuously monitor environmental conditions and practices, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Valid Crane Operator Certification (NCCER/NCCCO).
• Proven experience operating various crane types listed above.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining various types of machinery.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow operational procedures accurately.
• Effective communication skills to work within a team and relay important information.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
