Technical Program Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
Technical Program Manager
to lead and deliver large-scale projects in the education technology and publishing space. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, hands-on experience with
modern technologies
, and proven ability to manage cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Collaborate closely with development, design, QA, and business stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable project plans.

• Provide technical oversight across
modern front-end, back-end, and database technologies
.

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders and leadership teams.

• Drive adoption of best practices in agile project management and technology delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of experience in Technical Project Management within software development or related domains.

• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of modern technologies:

Front-end:
React, Angular, JavaScript

•
Back-end:
PHP, Java, .NET

•
Databases:
MongoDB or similar NoSQL/SQL solutions

• Proven record of managing enterprise-level projects end-to-end.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving ability with focus on outcomes and client satisfaction.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in EdTech or Higher Education publishing projects.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Relevant certifications (PMP, CSM, etc.).
